Deputy Chief Dave Lingenfelter accepted a position as the new Lake Stevens Fire District Fire Chief.
Lake Stevens Fire Commissioners made a motion to promote Dave Lingenfelter as the new Lake Stevens Fire District Fire Chief, at their regular Commissioner Meeting on Thursday, October 7.
Chief Lingenfelter has accepted this position and desires to continue to move the department forward.
“This is both a challenging and exciting time for us at Lake Stevens Fire. Our membership consists of a great group of people and I look forward to working with them in a collaborative and productive manner as we continue to serve our community,” Lingenfelter said.
Chief Lingenfelter has been with Lake Stevens Fire for almost 17 years. He started his tenure with Lake Stevens Fire as Director of Paramedics and moved through the ranks as Battalion Chief of EMS, and Deputy Chief of EMS and Administration.
Chief Lingenfelter has been married to his wife Patti for 40 years and they have two sons, one daughter and eight grandchildren.
