High School FCCLA travels to national leadership conference

of Lake Stevens High School’s FCCLA program.

 


Lake Stevens High School chapter members of the Washington State Association of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) joined over 6,100 members in the celebration of this great organization’s 65th birthday in Chicago, Illinois. Members prepared to compete and increase their individual leadership skills at this conference.
   
In Chapter Service Manual, Charlie Carrow and Evalynn Lopez worked with Hillcrest Elementary students by helping them soar with success in reading. 

In the Life Event Planning category Megan Oakley and Samantha Lawrence worked together to plan their senior trip to Hawaii.

Both STAR Event teams brought home gold medals. 

Lake Stevens also had two state officers attending workshops, as well as putting on a state meeting.  Thanks to the Purple and Gold Club and Lake Stevens High School Associated Student Body for helping send the students to this national leadership conference.
