The Everett Police Department Major Crimes Unit is investigating a bank robbery that occurred this morning at Cascade Bank in the 6900 block of Evergreen Way. Everett patrol officer responded to the hold-up alarm at about 9:44 a.m. this morning.
When they arrived they discovered that a woman had come into the bank implied that she had a gun and demanded money from the teller. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money the suspect fled the bank on foot. From the bank she ran to the north corner of the building then through the banks drive-through and onto Cady Road. She was last seen run south along Cady Road. Officer set up containment in the area and K-9 unit from Lynnwood PD was called in to assist. Unfortunately the suspect was not found.
The suspect is described as a white female in her early twenties about 5’04” tall. She was wearing a dark colored knit winter type cap that extended down over her ears. The hat has triangle designs encircling the “brim” of the cap. She was wearing a dark colored jacket and blue jeans.
I’ve attached three photos of the suspect. Our video forensic detective is at the bank collecting video however it may not be available in time for the evening broadcasts. As soon as I get it I will forward the link for download.
