Fire Chief Dave Lingenfelter announces Larry Huff as new Deputy Chief.
Lake Stevens Fire proudly announced their new Deputy Chief, Larry Huff, on Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010.
Fire Chief Dave Lingenfelter commented, “Larry Huff’s appointment is effective immediately. I am extremely confident in his abilities to successfully function as the Operations Chief and I look forward to working with him.”
Deputy Chief Larry Huff began his fire service career as a paramedic in various emergency medical service organizations including Wenatchee, Yakima, and Monroe over a span of five years.
He held the rank of Paramedic/Firefighter with Lake Stevens Fire for 17 years. He has been with Lake Stevens Fire since 1993 and has also held the ranks of Lieutenant and Battalion Chief. The majority of his formal education has been with Central Washington University.
“Lake Stevens Fire has done many good things for me, and this is a great opportunity for me to give back to the department and the community,” Deputy Chief Larry Huff said. “Our department members are extremely talented and together we will continue to serve the community and move forward.”
Huff has been married to his wife Debbie for 15 years, and they have one son and two daughters. His hobbies include golfing, fishing, and traveling with the family.
