This year’s title is the team’s third straight Wesco 4A north Championship and their 21st out of the past 22 seasons. The Vikings finished the regular season undefeated in Wesco 4A north winning all their duals by large margins.
The road to the State Championship begins Friday, Feb. 5 with Districts held at Monroe High School. The Vikings enter districts ranked number one in 4A.
Five wrestlers on the team are ranked in the top three at their weight in the state:
Ranked #1: Steven Walkley and Andrew King
Ranked #2: Eric Soler and Jesse Peterson
Ranked #3: Ryan Rodorigo
