The target date to perform the overlay on 20th Street SE is Friday, June 3 and Saturday, June 4.
On Friday, the road surface will be ground in preparation of the new pavement surfacing. 

This work is expected to be performed during off-peak day hours.  One lane of travel is expected to remain open to traffic.  Delays to through traffic are expected during this work.  The road is expected to reopen to full traffic by the p.m. peak time.
On Saturday, 20th Street SE will be closed to through traffic early in the morning and expected to reopen by mid-afternoon. 
For eastbound travel, the off ramp from US 2 will be closed.  For westbound, the roadway will be closed from west of 91st Street SE.  (Actual section where the work is being performed is from Cavalero Road to US 2 off ramp.) 

Local traffic will be allowed limited access during the closure.  A detour route along 91st Avenue, Market, and SR 204 will be set up.
The permanent pavement marking/striping will follow within a few weeks.
This work is pending having several days of dry and seasonal weather.
