Sirens and even a helicopter could be heard near downtown Lake Stevens last Sunday, June 5 when a 22-year-old Lake Stevens woman was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center after her car struck a light pole.
“There was a single vehicle collision where a 22-year-old woman collided with a utility pole on North Lakeshore Drive,” Lake Stevens Police Chief Randy Celori said.
As of Monday, June 6, the woman was recovering at Harborview.
“We’re still investigating but alcohol may have been involved,” Celori said. “She is very lucky to be alive.”
