The Greater Lake Stevens Chamber of Commerce is looking for a few good citizens. They are seeking nominations for their annual Citizen and Junior Citizen of the Year awards.

This annual award has been handed out since 1982 to residents with a history of outstanding local volunteer service or who have made other significant contributions to the community.

Last year’s awards went to Mitch Robinson (Citizen) and Kyle Hedges (Jr. Citizen). Winners are honored at a Chamber luncheon and in the Aquafest Grand Parade as well as having their names displayed on a perpetual plaque at the Chamber office.

Nomination forms are available at the Chamber office, Lake Stevens City Hall, Lake Stevens Library and Foster Press, or you can submit a nomination online at www.lakestevenschamber.com.
Nomination forms must be returned by June 30.
