The following are the classes that will be offered at the Lake Stevens Family History Center for 2011.
Please register at nixon.genealogy@hotmail.com by sending you name and the class desired.

Thurs. Oct. 6, 13, 20: Three week Beginners Research Series 12 pm. to - 1 p.m.
Thurs. Oct. 6, 13, 20: Three week Intermediate Research Series 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Tues. Nov. 1: “Gathering Info” 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Wed. Nov. 2: “Gathering Info” 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. (repeat)
Wed. Nov. 9: “Computer Tips & Tricks” 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Tues. Nov. 15: “Organizing Info” 10 a.m. to11 a.m.
Wed. Nov. 16: “Organizing Info” 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. (repeat)

Free Resources available include: Ancestry.com; Familysearch.org; Footnote.com (now Fold3.com); World Vital Records and many more in addition to 10 computers for use, as well as FreeWiFi for genealogy.
There will also be Sunday evening programs from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

On the following Sundays:
Sun. Oct 30:  “Who Do You Think You Are? – Where Do I Begin? ”
Sun. Jan 29:   “Effective Research Strategies- Who or What Am I Looking For?

All classes and programs are presented at The Family History Center located in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Building at 10120 Chapel Hill Rd., Lake Stevens.
