From Nov. 7 through Nov. 10, the Lake Stevens Education Foundation will conduct the Second Annual fundraising phone-a-thon “Calling for Kids” to help fund programs that provide excellent academic experiences that promote success for all students.
This year’s goal is to raise $40,000 or $5 per student.
All of the funds raised will stay in the Lake Stevens School District to support the Foundation’s Innovative Teaching and Learning grants and early learning programs such as ABC (Academic Beginnings for Children) for pre-school age children and families.
You can make a difference in the Lake Stevens schools with your investment in teaching and learning that will benefit every student, teacher and school in the district.
LSEF is a community, volunteer based, non-profit charitable organization dedicated to enhancing academic excellence for all Lake Stevens School District students and children.
You don’t have to wait for the event to donate. Go to the Lake Stevens Education Foundation website to make a tax deductible donation on your credit card or mail in a check today. Find out more about the Foundation at http://www.lkstevensef.org/.
