New Eagle Scout Gaeble King.

Lake Stevens’ own Gaeble King earned the distinguished honor of earning his Eagle Scout rank through the Boy Scouts of America program.

King is a member of Troop 419 in Marysville. His Eagle court of honor was held on December 10 at Mountain View Presbyterian Church.

For his Eagle Scout project, King helped to improve Mountain View's garden that provides food for the food bank, Master's Feast and the Marysville Community Lunch.

He built raised garden beds, a composting system, a bench and a shed. He also built a garden for the Praise and Promise Preschool so the children can grow things and learn about nature.
