LSF Partners in Risk Watch

Lake Stevens Fire is proud to share strong partnerships with the Lake Stevens Police and the Everett Community College Nursing Program. 

Both of these agencies help teach Risk Watch topics in their respective areas of expertise.  
In February the nursing students taught the topic of Poison Prevention and in March the Lake Stevens Police partnered with Lake Stevens Fire in teaching the topic of Motor Vehicle Safety. 

Currently all eight elementary schools within the Lake Stevens Fire District have a total of 60 classes participating in the Risk Watch Program.  Lake Stevens Fire continues to work with the schools to encourage additional participation.

Everett Community College nursing student Faye Kinkead taught students at Skyline Elementary on the topic of Poison Prevention.
