The Lake Stevens School District has recently accepted a bid for a fencing project at Lake Stevens High School.
Fencing of the school’s baseball and fast-pitch ball fields will be taking place during the months of August and September.
The fencing will ensure that the newly modernized facility is properly used and maintained.
The modernization of the two ball fields was the final project that was completed as a part of the $65.5 million 2005 Bond measure.
The bond provided for the building of Cavelero Mid High, complete modernization of Hillcrest, Mt. Pilchuck, and Sunnycrest elementary schools, and at Lake Stevens High School the modernization of the cafeteria-commons area, football/soccer field and track, and construction of the new stadium.
