The Lake Stevens Family History Center will be holding a seminar this Sunday, Sept. 30 at 7 p.m. This seminar will explore starting your Family History, Journaling, Blogging and Slurping it for future generations.
The idea of physically writing your thoughts down is now being replaced by online tools. This seminar will explore the ideas of “Journaling”, its importance in your life and how to begin.
In the “Blogging” section the speaker will show their own personal blog as well as discuss the ease in getting one started.
Finally, “Slurping” is a popular term in taking those forums (online journals and blogs) and directing them to online photostores to create a physical memory book for friends and family.
In all of these areas you can create your own family history based on your own current events for future generations.
This event is sponsored by our local LDS Family History Center, located in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Days Saints located at 10120 Chapel Hill Road, Lake Stevens. Registration is not needed.
