On Friday, October 12, at the annual LSHS Homecoming Assembly, the court was presented to the student body and the queen, elected by students, was announced.

Amanda Kaintz was named the 2012 Homecoming Queen and was presented to the student body in an elaborate skit fashioned after the Shrek movie!

Following the assembly leadership students and the Homecoming Court visited residents at Ashley Pointe in Lake Stevens.
There they shared their interests and goals with residents and residents shared some of their past.

Mahlon, from Rhode Island, attended Oregon State University and became a Forester. Vera, who went to school in Walnut Ridge Arkansas liked to play basketball, and  Erma, who attended school in Bridgeport, Ohio, shared that her main interest in high school was boys!

The students performed a short dance for the residents and said their good-byes, reminding them to come to the Senior Dinner that the Leadership class will host on April 11, 2013.
