The Relay For Life of Lake Stevens raises funds to fight cancer by hosting this overnight event where individuals and teams camp out with the goal of keeping at least one team member on the track or pathway at all times throughout the evening. The Relay takes place overnight because cancer never sleeps.
Teams do most of their fundraising prior to the event, but some teams also hold creative fundraisers at their camp sites during Relay. Relay brings together friends, families, businesses, schools, faith-based groups….people from all walks of life—all aimed at furthering the American Cancer Society’s efforts to save lives.
The event will take place Friday, May 10 starting at 6 p.m. running through Saturday, May 11 to 4 p.m.
Relay For Life celebrates those who have battled cancer, remembers loved ones lost and empowers individuals to fight back against the disease.
Funds raised at the Relay For Life are enabling the American Cancer Society to impact the lives of those touched by cancer in the community.
