The Lake Stevens Kiwanis Club held their annual Easter Egg Hunt at Highland Elementary School on Easter Sunday, March 31. This was their 30th year!
Warm weather brought out hundreds of kids and their families and friends. The Easter bunny arrived on a Lake Stevens fire engine and lots of pictures were taken.
At exactly 1 p.m. the siren started the hunt and over 4,000 eggs were found in less than five minutes.
Many prizes were given out including bikes, helmets, hundreds of gift baskets and stuffed animals.
Preparation for the hunt was held at the Boys and Girls Club on Wednesday March 27.
Besides Kiwanis members and their families a special thanks go to groups Kiwanis sponsors including Boy Scout Troop 41, Builders Clubs from the middle schools and Key Clubbers from the high school.
