Scotland comes to Everett May 5 as the Northwest Scottish Fiddlers, based out of Edmonds, performs at 2 p.m., at the main Everett Public Library auditorium, downtown Everett.
Music from Scotlalnd, Nova Scotia, and the Shetland Islands will be featured, on fiddles, cellos, guitar, piano and string bass. Marcia Thumma, president of the club and Lake Stevens resident says this will be the best and biggest show the club has ever offered to the public, as there will be solos, family acts, dancing and singing. Thumma explains, “ For years the club has performed to standing room only crowds at Seattle’s Folklife and other venues, and we are looking forward to sharing our music with Everett.”
The show is free and open to the public. For more information go to: http://www.epls.org/calendar/default.asp.
