A Lake Stevens High School student in his 20s was found in the high school pool on Friday morning. He was rushed to the hospital after medics performed CPR on him for 25 minutes. He is currently listed in critical condition.
“CPR was initiated and he was ultimately transported to Providence Medical Center.”
A manager at the high school pool pulled the man from the pool and began life-saving efforts; the manager is a certified lifeguard.
The paramedics took over as soon as they got to the school and stabilized the man as best they could before turning on their lights and sirens and transporting him to the hospital.
The school district has notified the family.
