Holy Cross Catholic heads to Tijuana for youth mission trip

A group of 31 participants from Holy Cross Catholic Church in Lake Stevens and Granite Falls traveled to Tijuana, Mexico, to participate in the Esperanza International Project there on the church’s annual youth mission trip.

Several years ago a major airline discovered that leaving its planes in the natural aluminum color saved money. It takes 690 pounds of paint for a 747. This cost the company $20,000 a year per plane in fuel just to fly the paint through the skies. By replacing the coffee makers aboard their planes with a lighter model they could save $100,000 a year.

Lakeside Fellowship is now LifePoint Church
