Vikings Junior Varsity Volleyball undefeated

The Lake Stevens High School Junior Varsity Volleyball team took first place in the Gold Division at the JV Tournament at Mariner High School on Sept. 18. They had a record of six wins for the day.
The girls beat Jackson in the final match for the championship title and also beat JV teams from Bothell, Mariner, Everett, Kent Meridian and Lakeside throughout the tournament.
The JV team is also undefeated in their current school season and have a record of four wins and no losses.
The Vikes have swept the JV teams from Glacier Peak, Mt. Lake Terrace, Oak Harbor and Shorewood winning all three sets against each team.
Their next home game is on Thursday, Sept. 30 at 5:15 p.m. against Snohomish.
The young team is comprised of two juniors, seven sophomores and two freshmen.
