The Lake Stevens wrestling team traveled to Roseburg, Ore. to take on the top ranked team in Oregon who are also ranked number 11 in the nation, the Roseburg Indians.
Lake took the early lead in the dual with falls scored by Jesse Peterson at 103 pounds, Eric Soler at 119 pounds and Ryan Rodorigo 125 pounds, along with a major decision by Dakoda Reynolds in the 112 pound class, to go up 22-0.
Roseburg won the next five matches to tie the dual at 22-22.
Andrew King put Lake Stevens back ahead 25-22 with a win by decision at 160 pounds with four matches remaining. Roseburg won three of the final four matches to win the dual 38-31.
