Lake Stevens High School band performs at a Viking football game.


The Lake Stevens High School Marching Band has become a well-oiled machine in the last few years and through time and talent they have become a well-respected and much loved part of home football games and other activities.

Currently the band is in the process of making a classic rock-n-roll video to submit to the The Rock, Wood Fired Pizza & Spirits 5th annual Battle of the Bands competition.
If they win, they would take home a $10,000 cash prize.

This year, the winning school’s band program will be awarded $10,000, second place will receive $3,500, third place will receive $1,000 and four runners up will each receive a pizza party. 

Three divisional winners will each also be awarded $1,000 for receiving the most text votes within their division, determined by school size. In addition, The Rock will award one school with a $1,000 Best Video award.

So, get your phones ready and beginning November 14 and running through December 2 you can text your vote for the LSHS Marching Band.
