The Northwest's most cherished holiday tradition, Pacific Northwest Ballet's Stowell/Sendak Nutcracker sets Seattle Center's McCaw Hall aglow with joy and laughter November 26–December 27. Breathtaking dancing, PNB's live orchestra, and Tchaikovsky's timeless score combine with the magical ambience of the hall itself—Nutcracker-themed décor, a soaring 20-foot tree, unique gifts, and delicious treats—to create an enchanting holiday experience from start to finish. The only production like it in the world, Nutcracker combines creator Kent Stowell's charming and dramatic choreography with magnificent sets and costumes by renowned author and illustrator Maurice Sendak (Where The Wild Things Are), and more than 200 roles danced by PNB's performers.
