The varsity team is comprised of five Seniors (Nicole Carroll, Blake Lamberty, Cecilia Licciardi, Abby Molstre and Kylie Hall), 3 Juniors (Sara Perry, Christiana James and McKayla Huntley) and four Sophomores (Alexis Alverson, Kendall Swanson, Molli Drivdahl & Danielle Chalfant).


Fall is in the air and that means high school volleyball is upon us! 

The Lake Stevens Varsity Volleyball team is currently (2-1; non league) and finished 13th out of 24 in the Puget Sound Adidas Invitational tournament last weekend in Auburn.

Although the Vikings lost their first non-league match to Glacier Peak (2-3), they beat the Mountlake Terrace Hawks (3-2) and swept Oak Harbor (3-0).

Thursday night’s match to Oak Harbor proved the Vikings’ hard work has paid off by winning 3 in a row, 25-23, 25-19, 25-20. 
Highlights of the night were 14 digs by senior libero Nicole Carroll, 31 assists by senior setter Blake Lamberty, 12 kills by junior outside hitter McKayla Huntley, 3 blocks from senior middle blocker Abby Molstre and 6 service aces overall.

Come support Lake Stevens Vikings Volleyball at their next home match Tuesday Oct. 4 at 7 p.m. against Stanwood.
