Pahukoa girls help team soar to the top

The Northwest Blazers girls basketball team wins the title with the help of Lake Stevens own Brooke and Brittney Pahukoa.

 

The Northwest Blazers, a select girls basketball team made up of players from the states of Washington and Idaho, won the MSNM NCAA Certified Tournament played October 7-8, 2011 at Juanita High School. 

The show tournament for college coaches was made up of 48 teams and had some of the best high school talent in the northwest competing. 

The Blazers Orange won the Elite division beating Way To Win Gold in the final going undefeated in the two-day event.  
The team was led by local high school standouts, Brooke and Brittney Pahukoa from Lake Stevens. 

Other team members competing were: Jade Redmon and Brooke Reilly of Spokane, Kelsey Moos, Reardon, Brittany and Jordan McPhee, Normandie Park, Karlee Wilson, Lewiston, Idaho, and Dakota and Dylan Gonzalez, Pocatello.
