Girls learn more at local volleyball camp
Lake Stevens Boys and Girls Club hosted a week long Volleyball Camp for grades three through eight where girls learned to love the game.
Lake Stevens Boys and Girls Club recently hosted a week long Volleyball Camp for grades three through eight.
Coaches Anela Kaikala, Allan McDonald and Elise Valentine spent the week teaching the fundamentals of the game in a fun positive atmosphere where all the girls came away with the love of the game and an excitement for more.
Kaikala and Valentine, who coach for Snohomish Valley Volleyball Club U-14 Fusion, also donate their time to Lake Stevens volleyball teams in spring and fall.
McDonald also contributes his time to fall and spring season in the Lake Stevens volleyball program.
The Lake Stevens Boys and Girls Club is grateful to have coaches who generously donate their time and effort to make a positive impact on the kids in our community. It is people like this that make our youth sports programs successful. A big thank you goes out to them for their time, commitment and support.
All proceeds from this camp will be used to support the Lake Stevens Boys & Girls Club Volleyball program.
