Church offers end of summer concert, ice cream social
On Sunday afternoon, Sept. 19 at 3 p.m. at Everett’s First Presbyterian Church, Summer Aire, a group of musicians including singers from the Everett Chorale, First Baptist Church, First Presbyterian Church and others who wanted to sing throughout the summer, will present the “Fourth-Annual” End-of-Summer Concert and Ice Cream Social.
This year the theme is a “‘Hallelujah’ Chorus” where singers will be performing various styles and types of Gospel music.
Pieces like Rutter’s Feel the Spirit, Baldwin’s Swing Low, Sweet Chariot and works by Moses Hogan and many more. The cost is free, although donations will be accepted.
After the concert, join in the fun at an Old-Fashioned Ice Cream Social in Westminster Hall.
