Criminal Trespass, 08/31/2010, 2800 block Hartford Road

A criminal trespass report was filed for additional investigation after officers responded to a suspicious complaint where the caller reported hearing shots fired. Upon arrival, officers located the 45-year-old male witness who called 911. The male reported seeing two males run from a storage facility and then heard the gunshots. Officers contacted the residents on the property who confirmed they observed two male suspects gain entry into the storage facility through a hole in the fence. The residents denied shooting at the suspects. An area check was done and no bullet casings were found. A report was filed for additional investigation.


Domestic Violence (DV) Malicious Mischief 2°, 09/01/10, 300 block 91st Ave. NE

A 38-year-old male was arrested for DV malicious mischief. Officers were dispatched to a report of a male breaking the windows out of a vehicle. Upon arrival, officers contacted the victim who reported that she and her boyfriend were arguing because he came home late. The male stated that he was going to leave, so the victim locked the vehicle. The male then attempted to gain entry into the car by using a coat hanger. The victim noticed he was making progress getting into the car so she let the air out of a tire; at which point he gained entry into the car but could not leave due to the flat tire. The suspect became extremely agitated at that point and began smashing out the windows of the car using a bicycle rack. The male was placed under arrest and transported to jail without further incident.


Obstructing/Resisting Arrest, 09/01/2010, 3000 block 99th Ave. NE

A 40-year-old female was arrested for obstructing an investigation and resisting arrest. Officers were dispatched to a physical domestic call. Officers arrived on scene and contacted the male who reported that he was arguing with his girlfriend but nothing physical occurred. Officers then contacted the female who refused to answer any questions and attempted to slam the front door shut in the officer’s face. The female was advised she was under arrest for obstructing the investigation and as officers attempted to handcuff her, she became physically combative and resisted being placed under arrest. Officers were able to secure the female in handcuffs and she was transported to jail without further incident.


Minor in Possession of Alcohol (MIP)/Vehicle Prowl, 09/03/10, 800 block 123rd Avenue NE

A 19-year-old male was issued a criminal citation for MIP and vehicle prowl. Officers were dispatched to a reported vehicle prowl and upon arrival contacted the victim who had detained the suspect. The victim stated he heard a noise near his vehicle and went to investigate when he observed the suspect inside his car. The victim detained the suspect while his girlfriend called 911. Officers contacted the suspect who was intoxicated and he admitted to the vehicle prowl. The suspect was issued a criminal citation and released to his parents.
