Assault 4/Malicious Mischief 3, 12/27/2010, 1800 blk Main Street

A 36-year-old male was booked into Marysville Jail for assault and malicious mischief. The suspect was at Buzz Inn when the suspect’s friend began making lewd comments to other patrons in the restaurant. The males continued the verbal altercation as they exited the establishment. The suspect then struck one of the males and a physical fight ensued. As officers began to arrive on scene, the fight ceased and the suspect continued the incident by damaging the victim’s car prior to being placed under arrest. The suspect was placed under arrest and transported to jail without further incident.

Fugitive of Justice/Violation of Court Order, 12/27/2010, 400 blk 81st Avenue Ne

A 23-year-old male was booked into Snohomish County Jail on a felony warrant out of California and charges were referred to the prosecutor’s office for being a fugitive from justice and violating a no-contact court order. Officers were dispatched to a possible court order violation complaint. The reporting party stated that a male at his residence had warrants for his arrest and believed there to be a court order in effect between him and the female there. Upon arrival, officers contacted the male and confirmed that he had arrest warrants in addition to a no-contact court order. The male was placed under arrest and transported to jail without further incident.

Residential Burglary, 12/29/10, 500 blk 91st Avenue Se

A 48-year-old female reported a burglary when she arrived at a friend’s house to discover someone had entered the residence without permission. The female called 911 and upon arrival contacted her. She reported to the officer that she stopped by and immediately noticed the front door had been kicked in. The female stated she left and returned with a friend; both entered the residence but did not locate anyone inside. They stated they could not identify if any items were missing since they were only attempting to care for the homeowner’s pets. The scene was photographed and a report was filed for additional investigation.

Hit and Run Collision, 12/30/2010, 10500 blk Lakeview Drive

A report was filed after an unknown suspect struck a police vehicle and then fled the scene. While on patrol, an officer stopped to speak with some juveniles walking on a narrow shoulder of a road. The officer observed a vehicle approaching him rapidly from the west headed eastbound. The vehicle continued to accelerate and started to slide due to ice on the road, striking the officer’s patrol car. The suspect vehicle immediately fled the scene. Due to the icy road conditions, the officer was unable to catch up with the recklessly driven car. The officer was uninjured and the vehicle sustained only minor damage. A report was filed for additional investigation.
