Suspicious Circumstance, 01/31/11, 8700 blk of 8th Pl NE

Officers responded to a possible bomb after a landlord reported his previous tenant, who was recently evicted, left a single package under a lit Christmas tree. He also stated he feared the package may have contained a bomb. The Washington State Patrol was asked to assist, they concluded the scene as a false alarm and the scene was cleared.

Residential Burglary, 01/31/11, 1500 blk of S. Lake Stevens Rd

A 21-year-old male reported that he had three X-Box consoles stolen from his home. Ex-roommates were given as possible suspects, but there is no evidence linking them to the crime. The case was closed and will be re-opened pending further information.

Suspicious Circumstances/Collision, 02-01-11, 9600 blk of Market Pl

A 21-year-old male was arrested after he yelled and pointed a gun at a male in a parking lot and then left the scene. Upon locating the male, officers discovered that the object pointed was not a gun, but in fact a flashlight. The male was cited and released from the scene. Later in the day the same male suspect crashed his vehicle into a small tree. The male was taken to the hospital for a mental evaluation.

Reckless Endangerment, 02/01/2011, 1000 blk of 91 Ave SE

A 30-year-old male was cited for Reckless Endangerment after he left a 2-year-old boy home alone. The male was located in the middle of 91st walking in the middle of the road. The male stated “he left the boy home and that he was fine because the dog was watching him while he went to get cigarettes”. The child was released to a responsible adult, but the case was forwarded to Child Protective Service and the male was cited for reckless endangerment.

Violation of Court Order, 02/04/2011, 1900 blk of 94 DR SE

Charges were forwarded for a 43-year-old male for violating a domestic violence protection order. Officers responded to a violation of a no contact order, where the victim reported that the male was on a bike outside her residence. The male was gone upon police arrival. Charges were forwarded to the City Prosecutor.

Possession of Heroin/Warrant Service, 02/04/11, 10211 10 Pl. S.E.

A 23 and 21-year-old males were both arrested for possession of Heroin and warrant service. Officers were dispatched to a complaint of two males using illegal drugs. The officers approached the male from behind as they were using the illegal drugs. The drugs were tested and determined to be heroin. The officer preformed a computer check, which revealed that both males had outstanding warrants. The males were booked into Snohomish County Jail and charges were forwarded to the Prosecutor.
