Striping planned for southbound I-5 in Mountlake Terrace tonight
MOUNTLAKE TERRACE – Weather permitting, crews will close three lanes of southbound I-5 near 236th Street SW tonight to finish striping work. Drivers should plan for delays and allow extra time for their trips.
The first lane will close at 7 p.m ., and three lanes will be closed by 8 p.m. All lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. Wednesday. During the closure crews will finish restriping and shifting the southbound lanes to their permanent alignment. Crews started the work Monday night but were rained out before they could finish, leaving a 20-foot wide center lane.
