The police department responded to 755 incidents in the week of March 6, 2011 through March 12, 2011. The following is a brief summary of some of the more notable contacts:

Possession Drug Paraphernalia, 3/06/11, 12700 blk 16th Street Ne

A 23-year-old male and a 27-year-old male were booked into Marysville Jail on possession of drug paraphernalia charges. Officers responded to a report of several males using drugs in the parking lot. Officers arrived and contacted the two males in their car. Paraphernalia was found in the car. As the males stepped out of the car, a glass pipe fell out and broke belonging which belonged to one of the two males. Also seen in the car was a large amount of tar heroin on the floor. Both males were booked into Marysville Jail for paraphernalia possession. The car was impounded and the males were transported to jail without incident.


Stolen Vehicle Recovery, 03/07/11, 900 blk 96th Avenue Se

Officers were dispatched to an assist to the fire department for a slumper. Officers arrived and noticed that the vehicle was a stolen vehicle that had just been reported. Officers opened the door and grabbed the male’s arm and pulled him out of the vehicle while he was still half asleep. Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office assisted when officers found multiple items that had been reported stolen within the car. Suspect information was obtained and the case is still under investigation.


Residential Burglary, 03/12/11, 2500 blk 116th Avenue Ne

A female reported that her house was burglarized. The window screen was taken down. A friend left a message on her phone that she saw a slender white male enter the residence through the bedroom window. The female said that her male roommate was at home in bed at the time but he could not get up due to a recent injury. Nothing was taken. The roommate said that he heard the dogs bark but did not see anyone. She believes the suspect saw the roommate and left without taking anything.


Disorderly Conduct/Reckless Driving/Collision, 03/12/11, 20th Street Ne/116th Ave Ne

A 36-year-old female came up from Bothell to talk to her 29-year-old ex-boyfriend. While doing so, she drove in oncoming traffic to talk to him, then pulled in front of him and stopped. They got into an argument and both tried to leave. When both parties tried to leave, the female backed into the male’s car. Charges of Disorderly Conduct and Reckless Driving will be forwarded to the court.
