The police department responded to 784 incidents in the week of March 13, 2011 through March 19, 2011. The following is a brief summary of some of the more notable contacts:


Domestic Violence Assault 2/Eluding, 03/13/11, 500 blk 91st Avenue Se

A 25-year-old male was arrested for DV Assault 2 and Eluding. Officers were dispatched to an in-progress disturbance complaint. A neighbor intervened by allowing the 24-year-old female victim to get in her car and leave to get her away from the male. As they tried to drive away, the male jumped on the back of the car as it drove away, but he fell off. The male chased after them in his car. He located them in the Taco Bell parking lot and tried to ram them with his car. He then chased them around trying to hit them. Officers located him in front of Razzles and a pursuit began. The pursuit was terminated at 91st and Market. About 5 minutes later, a trooper located the male’s vehicle and the male fled again, but crashed and then fled on foot. K-9 assistance was requested and a dog track was conducted without success. The male was later located and booked into Snohomish County Jail.


Collision, 03/16/11, Cedar Road/Lakeview Drive

While traveling on Lakeview Drive, the side mirrors of a Fire Dist8 Aid unit and a suburban hit. There was only damage to the mirrors and both drivers blamed each other. An informational report was filed.


Attempting to Elude/Possession Illegal Substance, 03/17/11, 2900 Block S. Lake Stevens Road

An 18-year-old male was arrested for attempting to elude and possession of illegal substance. The male’s vehicle was impounded as evidence after a drug dog hit on the passenger side door.


Domestic Violence Harassment, 03/18/11, 1900 blk 80th Avenue Ne

A 23-year-old female victim was angry at her live-in boyfriend about his constant drug use and told him she wanted him to move out. An argument ensued over this, at which point the 23-year-old male suspect threatened to shoot her with his gun. The victim, fearing for her safety, took all her guns and locked them up in her car. She attempted to locate his guns but was not able to find any. The male was booked into Marysville Jail on harassment charges.


Agency Assist, 03/19/11, 11300 blk 25th Street Se

Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office received a burglary in-progress complaint. Lake Stevens Officers assisted deputies with the investigation. Upon arrival, officers located the homeowner’s adult son on the roof trying to get in. The homeowner’s verified he did not have permission to be there. The male was arrested and charged.
