Collision, 08/07/2011, 12200 block 17th Pl. NE

A vehicle rolled off the end of the boat launch and was completely submerged when the driver accidently stepped on the gas instead of the brake while attemping to put his trailer in the water. Snohomish County dive responded, and the vehicle was towed. There were no apparent fluid leaks or injuries.


Assault 4 Domestic Violence (DV)/Interfering with reporting of DV, 08/07/2011, 11900 block 24th Pl. NE

A 31-year-old male was cited for Assault 4° DV when he assaulted his 35 year-old wife and attempted to prevent her from calling 911. The male fled prior to police arrival, a search was conducted with no success. Charges were sent to the Marysville Municipal Court.

Stolen Vehicle Recovery, 08/09/2011,

8500 block 99th Ave. NE


A 34-year-old male was arrested for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle. The vehicle was seen in a parking lot and after a computer search was preformed it revealed the vehicle to be stolen. The officer conducted a felony stop and the driver was taken into custody and booked into Snohomish County Jail.


Burglary, 08/09/2011, 3000 block 99th Ave. NE

A 48-year-old male, a 37-year-old male, and a 48- year-old female were arrested after it was reported that the older male was breaking into a shed. The younger male was arrested for acting as the look out, and the female was also arrested for outstanding warrants. The 48-year-old male barricaded himself in the shed, resulting in a standoff. Once he was taken into custody he was transported to the hospital by aid and booked into Snohomish County Jail on his warrants. Charges are being forwarded to the Prosecutor for Burglary.


Malicious Mischief, 08/11/2011 1800 block Main St.

Subway, Buzz Inn, and Bike Works all had their phone lines cut during the night. It appears this was done to disable the alarms. It is thought this was done in preparation for later burglary.


Burglary, 08/11/2011, 200 block N. Davies Rd.

A male reported that two vehicles and several firearms were taken from the home that he was house-sitting. Two days later, while the case was still under investigation, the homeowner called and reported that he located and was following the suspect’s vehicle from the prior day’s incident. After losing sight of the vehicle the man returned home to find that his other vehicle had been taken along with another firearm. The case is currently under investigation.
