Assault 4° Domestic Violence (DV) & Interfering With Reporting of DV, 08/14/2011, 2500 block 85th Dr. NE
A 29-year-old female was arrested for Assault 4° DV after a neighbor reported what sounded like a physical altercation. Upon arrival on scene, it was discovered that the female assaulted her 37-year-old husband during an argument. When he attempted to call 911, she grabbed the phone and broke it. The female was booked into Marysville Jail.
Criminal Traffic, 08/17/2011, 2800 block N. Machias
A 46-year-old male was arrested for Possession of Marijuana when he was stopped and found to have a large amount of marijuana in his vehicle. His vehicle was impounded for evidential reasons. It is believed that the vehicle was used in a recent burglary. Charges were referred to the Prosecutor for Possession of Marijuana, and the case is currently under investigation.

A 36-year-old female was arrested for Assault 4° DV. Officers were dispatched when her 50-year-old husband reported that they got into a verbal argument which turned physical. The male attempted to leave but his path was blocked by the female. She was booked into Marysville Jail.

A dog was transported to the animal shelter after it was left inside a truck bed for over two hours. It was reported that this had also occurred the day prior for over three hours. The case is currently under investigation.
Recovered Occupied Stolen Vehicle, 08/20/2011, 2100 Block 114th Dr. NE
A 31-year-old female was detained for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle. While on patrol, an officer observed the female operating the vehicle and acting suspicious. After she attempted to lose the officer in traffic, the officer conducted a computer check to discover that the vehicle had been reported stolen. When the female pulled into a residence and exited the vehicle, the officer made contact with the female. She stated that she had purchased the vehicle from her boyfriend for $100 dollars, and provided a written statement of the purchase. In addition, a stolen firearm belonging to the registered car owner was found on the passenger seat. The registered owner of the vehicle arrived at the scene and took possession of his car. The female was released, and the case is currently still under investigation.
