Collision Hit and Run, 11/06/11, 10000 blk of Lundeen Parkway

A motor home driven by 49-year-old female backed into a speed limit sign then fled the scene. When the female was contacted by the officer she claimed she did not realize she hit the sign. The witness was unwilling to write a statement because he was afraid of retaliation. An informational report was taken.


Vehicle Prowl/Warrant Service, 11/107/11, 11900 blk of 26th Street NE

A 24-year-old male was arrested for Vehicle Prowl and a Warrant Service. Officers were dispatched to a suspicious persons complaint where the reporting party stated “an unknown male knocked on her door and asked to use the phone”. The male was gone when the officers arrived on scene, but he was soon located in the bushes across the street. The officers performed a computer check on the male, which revealed a warrant out of Seattle. While all this was taking place a male approached the officers and stated “that the male had just prowled his vehicle”. The male was cited for the vehicle prowl and was booked into Snohomish County Jail on his warrant.


Vehicle Theft/Recovery, 11/08/11, 1600 blk of 127 Ave NE

A 42 and 20 year-old males were arrested after a female reported that here vehicle was stolen. Officers were dispatched to a stolen vehicle complaint. The female stated that she saw her vehicle being stolen. The officer was able to have the vehicle listed over the area which aided in the quick recovery by Lynnwood Officers. Lynnwood was able to take the suspects into custody and book them into the Lynnwood Jail.


Possession of Marijuana and the Intent to Deliver, 11/08/11, 2300 blk of SR 9 NE

An 18-year-old male was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and the Intent to Deliver. An officer performed a traffic stopped on the male’s vehicle. When the officer approached the vehicle he could smell the strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The male denied that there was marijuana in the vehicle so the officer asked the drug dog to come to the scene. The drug dog was able to give a positive indication on the vehicle. The vehicle was seized for a search warrant. Charges were referred to the Snohomish County Felony Prosecutor.


Collision Hit and Run, 11/09/11, 2200 blk of 103 Ave SE

A 29-year-old female was arrested for a hit and run collision. Officers were dispatched to a hit and run collision where a vehicle struck a struck a 65 year old pedestrian and another vehicle; then drove off. The vehicle and driver were located. The 29-year-old female driver was taken into custody. The female willing consented to a blood draw to determine if she was under the influence. The case is currently under investigations pending the result of the blood draw. The female was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for the Hit and Run.
