Ace Hardware collecting Lights for Life for kids with cancer
Greg and Christine Egelstad, the owners of the Lake Stevens Ace Hardware, are working with “Lights For Life-helping kids with Cancer” foundation a 501© non-profit.
The Lake Stevens Ace Hardware is collecting and recycling old, broken holiday light strings and other items that contain copper such as old electrical cords. These donated items are sold to a recycler and the proceeds go directly to families with a child who has cancer.
This is the second year that the Lake Stevens Ace Hardware has participated in this event. The store will continue to collect these items through January 31, 2012.
The Egelstad’s and the Lake Stevens Ace Hardware family invite you to participate in this event and make a difference in the lives of the children fighting cancer and their families.
The Lake Stevens Ace Hardware store is located at 303 91st Ave. NE, Lake Stevens Wash. The store phone number is 425-334-7630.
