The police department responded to 539 incidents in the week of February 12, 2012 through February 18, 2012. The following is a brief summary of some of the more notable contacts:

Driving Under the Influence (DUI), 02/15/12, 100 block of 91st Ave. SE

A 48-year-old female was arrested for DUI. An officer responded to a call about a female driving erratically and was suspected to be under the influence. When the officer made contact the female passed out. The female was transported by aid, and charges are being forwarded to the prosecutor for DUI.


Assault 4 Domestic Violence (DV)/Interfering with Reporting of DV, 02/18/12, 8400 block of 10th Pl. SE

A 30-year-old male was arrested for Assault 4° DV and Interfering with Reporting of DV. Following an argument, the male assaulted his 38-year-old girlfriend and took her phone to prevent her from calling 911. The male was booked into Marysville Jail.


Collision, 02/18/12, 18th St SE/S Lake Stevens Rd.

A 20-year-old male was driving too fast and crashed into the sidewalk, damaging his vehicle. No one in the vehicle was injured. The driver had a suspended license and was cited for No Valid Operator License.


Taking Motor Vehicle without Permission/Domestic Violence (DV) Harassment/DV Malicious Mischief/DV Court Order Violation, 02/18/12, 1600 block of S. Lake Stevens Rd.

A 29-year-old male was arrested for Taking a Motor Vehicle without Permission, DV Harassment, DV Malicious Mischief, and DV Violation of a Court Order. The male got into an argument with his father, destroyed property inside the home, and stole his dad’s vehicle. The male then went to his mother’s house, which was a violation of a court order. The male was booked into Snohomish County Jail.


Driving Under the Influence (DUI), 02/18/12, 9300 block of 4th St. NE

A 65-year-old male was arrested for DUI. Officers responded to a call involving a male that had pulled out of a parking lot and drove his vehicle into a ditch. The male was found to be intoxicated, and he was processed for DUI.


Assist Other Agency (AOA), 02/18/12, 2000 block of Vernon Rd.

A 15-year-old male was found in a garage passed out and convulsing after consuming a considerable amount of alcohol. It was unclear where he obtained the alcohol or where he consumed it. The male was transported to Providence Hospital, and the male’s guardian was contacted.
