Lake Stevens Chamber offers Federal Business Tax workshop

The Greater Lake Stevens Chamber of Commerce invites you to join them on Tuesday, March 27 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Lake Stevens Fire Station 82, 9811 Chapel Hill Road, Lake Stevens for an educational Federal Tax Workshop presented by Rizwan Chaudhry.

The workshop focuses on the fundamentals of federal taxes for small business owners, including Entity Choice, Accounting Methods, Record keeping, Business Income and Expenses, Record keeping, and Estimated Tax.

It also covers the basics of small business tax forms, including Schedule C, Profit or Loss from Business, Schedule SE, Self-Employment Tax, and Form 1040-ES, Estimated Tax for Individuals among others. It provides an opportunity to get answers to a wide range of tax questions about running a successful business venture. This will also be a great time for existing business owners to evaluate their current entity structure and maybe the business owner needs to switch (i.e. Sole Prop to LLC).

The class is free for Chamber members and $10 for non-members. Due to limited space, you must RSVP and/or pre-pay by Friday, March 23.
