Emily Bolton, a 2009 graduate of Lake Stevens High School, graduated from the University of Puget Sound on May 13, 2012. Bolton majored in art history and history. While a student at Puget Sound, Bolton participated in chorale and piano playing.

Courtney Crouch of Lake Stevens received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Emory College of Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, at its 167th commencement ceremony on May 14, 2012.

Austin Demary of Lake Stevens, has been placed on the Dean’s list at Columbia College after completing 12 semester hours in a 16 week period and earning a minimum 3.5 GPA.

Jordan Carter has received his bachelor’s degree in marketing: integrated media. He was also placed on the Dean’s List for Fall Quarter.

Roselynn Fagg has been placed on the Dean’s List at Columbia College for both fall and spring quarters.

Anna Peterson of Lake Stevens has been named to the Whitworth University Laureate Society for Spring semester 2012. She qualified for the academic honors society by maintaining a grade point average of at least 3.75 during the semester.

Jennifer Cataldi, a resident of Lake Stevens has earned placement on the Gonzaga University President’s List for spring semester 2012. Students must earn a 3.7 to 4.0 grade-point average to be listed.

Emma French has been listed on the Dean’s List for the Spring Semester of 2012 at Mayville State University. In order to be named to the Dean’s List, each student has attained a grade point average of 3.50 or higher and has successfully completed a minimum of 12 graded credit hours of regular academic credit from Mayville State.

Navy Seaman Apprentice Andrew King, son of Dixie and George S. King of Lake Stevens, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. King is a 2011 graduate of Lake Stevens High School of Lake Stevens, Wash.

Navy Petty Officer 1st Class Jason A. Snyder, son of Liz and Bob Snyder of Lake Stevens, along with fellow Sailors aboard the guided missile destroyer USS Farragut (DDG 99), departed for a scheduled deployment in support of maritime security operations and build on maritime partnerships.

Snyder is a 1998 graduate of Lake Stevens High School of Lake Stevens, Wash. and joined the Navy in August 1998.
