SR 9/SR 92 intersection closure officially rescheduled

Guy F. Atkinson Construction crews working for WSDOT will close the SR 9/SR 92 intersection from (10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, to 7:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 12,) to pave, install guardrail, stripe and turn on a traffic signal.

Detour routes will direct drivers around the closure on local roads. Drivers headed to or from SR 92 will use 42nd St. NE, Lake Cassidy Road/99th Ave. NE.

Drivers headed north or south on SR 9 will use Soper Hill Road, 83rd Ave. NE and Sunnyside School Road.

WSDOT is partnering with the city of Marysville on a project to widen the intersection in anticipation of Marysville building a fourth leg of the intersection.

Please be advised that as a resident or business adjacent to the construction work zone, you may see, hear and feel construction work. (Construction will take place from 10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, to 7:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 12.)
