The police department responded to 535 incidents in the week of August 19, 2012 through August 25, 2012. They following is a brief summary of some of the more notable contacts:

Boat Collision, 08/19/12, Lake Stevens

Officers responded to a boat collision on Lake Stevens. Both boats were pulling tubes when they collided. Two people were transported to the hospital with injuries. The case is currently under investigation.


Burglary/Theft, 08/20/12, 9500 block of 4th St. NE

Officers responded when a storage unit was broken into. The victim provided a list of items stolen, and the case is currently under investigation.


Trespassing/Criminal Attempt,

08/20/12, 700 block of SR 9 NE

A 33-year-old male was arrested for Trespassing and Criminal Attempt. The male suspect was seen entering a store that he had been previously trespassed from due to theft. When he attempted to steal some merchandise, he was detained by officers. The male was booked into Marysville Jail.


Assault 4° Domestic Violence (DV), 08/21/12, 2500 block of Meadow Dr.

A 21-year-old female was arrested for Assault 4° DV. The female assaulted her brother when she hit his face with a wooden spatula. She was transported and booked into Marysville Jail.


Burglary/Theft, 08/22/12, 1300 block of 91st Ave. SE

Officers responded when an elderly female reported that she was awakened by a sound in the house and found her front door to be open. She also discovered that her wallet was missing from her purse. The case is currently under investigation.


Possession of Methamphetamines/Warrant Service, 08/22/12, 600 block of 91st Ave. NE

A 35-year-old male was arrested for Warrants and Possession of Methamphetamines. While investigating a suspicious circumstance, officers learned that the male had warrants for his arrest. Upon a search of his person, he was also found in possession of methamphetamines. The male was transported and booked into Snohomish County Jail.


Reckless Driving/Driving While License Suspended (DWLS) 3°, 08/25/12, 300 block of 91st Ave. NE

A 22-year-old male was cited for Reckless Driving and DWLS 3° when he exceeded the speed limit and fishtailed through the intersection in front of two officers. He was found to be DWLS 3°, and had no insurance and expired tabs. The male was issued a criminal citation for Reckless Driving and DWLS 3°, and the vehicle was impounded.
