Oktoberfest returns to Lake Stevens for second year
The Lake Stevens Chamber is excited to bring Oktoberfest back to Lake Stevens this fall! This festival will take place in downtown Lake Stevens, Friday through Sunday, September 28, 29 and 30.
Chamber President Kim Daughtry confirmed, “Oktoberfest is moving full steam ahead and we are looking forward to a great weekend. We are still looking for volunteers to help out, as there are many different opportunities to serve. It takes a lot of people working together to make this a successful event.”
Oktoberfest will be fun for the entire family! An Oktoberfest committee has been meeting monthly to map out the details. There is still room for food and vendor booths to sign up if you are interested. Applications are posted on the Chamber website at http://www.lakestevenschamber.com.
Chamber President Kim Daughtry also commented, “This year’s Oktoberfest will benefit from last year’s Oktoberfest in many ways. This year we have Enzian Schuhplattler performing from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, which will add to the Bavarian theme of the weekend. We also have Davis Shows Carnival setting up in Lake Stevens for the weekend.”
Oktoberfest activities and program schedules can be found on the Chamber’s website at http://www.lakestevenschamber.com. If you are interested in helping with the plans for Oktoberfest, please contact the Lake Stevens Chamber at 425-334-0433 or email at Oktoberfest@lakestevenschamber.com.
