The police department responded to 627 incidents in the week of September 2, 2012 through September 8, 2012. The following is a brief summary of some of the more notable contacts:


DV Harassment, 09/02/12,

100 block of 91st Ave. SE

Charges are being referred for a 32- year-old male for Harassment. The male allegedly made threats to his estranged wife, during an argument. The case is being forwarded to the city prosecutor for review.


Assault, 09/03/12,

2700 block of Cedar Rd.

Charges are being referred for a 22-year-old male after he assaulted a group of 13-year-old males. The juveniles were assaulted after they vandalized the residence. According to the complaint this has been an ongoing issue in this neighborhood. The case is being forwarded to the city prosecutor for review.


Assault Weapon, 09/04/12,

1800 block of 131st Dr. NE

A 46 year-old male was arrested for Assault with a weapon. A 34 year-old female reported that her husband assaulted and threatened her with a weapon. The incident was not reported until several hours after it had happened. Officers were dispatched as the male was leaving the residence; he was located and placed under arrest. He was booked into Snohomish County Jail.


Collision, 09/05/12, 20th St. SE/SR 9

Officers responded to a collision involving a dump truck and a passenger vehicle. It was determined that the dump truck was at fault. A witness stated that the dump truck ran a red light. The passenger vehicles collided with the dump trucks’ trailer, causing damage to both vehicles. The driver of the passenger vehicle was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. The vehicles were impounded and the scene was cleared without further incident.


Resisting Arrest/Disorderly Conduct,

09/08/12, 2400 block of Hartford Dr.

A 38-year-old female was arrested for Resisting Arrest and Disorderly Conduct. Officers were dispatched to the residence where it was reported that the female was causing a problem at the residence. Upon arriving the officers determined that the female was intoxicated. She refused to comply with the officers commands, resulting in the officers having to restrain her. She was placed under arrest and booked into Marysville Jail.


Providing location/minor drinking,

09/08/12, 2700 block of Spruce Rd.

An 18-year-old male was cited for providing a Location for Minors to Drink. The male was hosting a party, while his parents were out of town. The party got out of control and minors had access to liquor and were drinking. The suspect was cited and released without further incident.
