Donations being collected for Operation Christmas Child
This holiday season, Lake Stevens residents are working to brighten the lives of millions of needy children around the world.
Right now, volunteers are preparing for the collection of over 2,300 gift-filled shoe boxes—Lake Stevens’ target contribution to the world’s largest Christmas project of its kind, Operation Christmas Child.
From Nov. 12–19, Calvary Chapel Lake Stevens in Lake Stevens will be bustling with activity as over 2300 shoe boxes packed full of goodies for needy kids overseas are dropped off by local individuals and families.
Anyone can drop off a packed shoe box at Calvary Chapel, 9428 4th St. SE in Lake Stevens.
The shoe box gifts will be hand-delivered to hurting children in 100 countries around the world.
