First annual Fallen Officer Food Drive

In a joint effort with multiple other law enforcement agencies, the Lake Stevens Police Department is accepting food and cash donations on behalf of the Snohomish County Volunteers of America.

The food and money will be used to assist the VOA in providing meals to needy people throughout Snohomish County. The goal is to raise 30,000 lbs. of food and $30,000.

Donations will be collected at the Lake Stevens Police Department, 2211 Grade Rd., throughout the month of November.

Suggested donations include: canned fruits and vegetables, canned meats, fish, stews, peanut butter, baby food/formula, rice, pasta, chili, powdered/evaporated milk, fruit juices, etc.

All items may be dropped off at the Lake Stevens Police Department.
