Lights and Sirens for December 12, 2012
Theft/Minor in Possession (MIP), 11/24/12, 700 blk of SR 9
Two 17 year-old males were cited for Theft and MIP. An officer was dispatched to a shoplifting complaint involving two males who had just stolen some liquor. Both males were located with the liquor. One of the males was released to his parents, and the other was booked into Denney Youth Center.
Domestic Violence Court Order Violation (DV), 11/26/12, 2500 blk of Grade Rd
A 44 year-old male was cited for Violation of a DV Court Order. A 34 year-old female reported that her estranged husband was harassing her through text messages despite the DV Court Order. The case was forwarded to Marysville Municipal Court for Charging.
Residential Burglary/Theft, 11/29/12, 10800 blk of Vernon Road
Officers responded to a burglary call. When they arrived on scene it was learned that the residence was forcefully entered sometime during the day. There were several items missing including passports and jewelry. The case is currently under investigation.
Theft/Vehicle Prowl, 11/29/12, 8900 blk of Market Place
A 44 year-old male reported that his vehicle was prowled while it was parked in a parking lot. A firearm was taken, along with several other items. The firearm was entered into the computer database and the scene was cleared without further incident.
Driving under the Influence (DUI)/Hit and Run Collision, 11/29/12, 700 blk of 91st Ave NE
A 23 year-old male was arrested for DUI and Hit and Run Collision. The male fled the scene after he was involved in the collision. Upon making contact with the male, it was discovered that he was under the influence. The male’s vehicle was impounded, and he was processed for DUI and released from the Lake Stevens Police Department.
Assault 4° Domestic Violence (DV), 12/01/12, 1600 blk of 127th Ave NE
A 28 year-old male was arrested for Assault 4° DV. During a verbal altercation, the male suspect assaulted his wife and sister-in-law. Officers responded, and the male was transported and booked into Marysville Jail.
