Disturbance, 12/30/12, 9300 block of 15th St. NE
A 22-year-old male and his 21-year-old friend were both intoxicated and arguing about the way the 22-year-old male was treating his girlfriend. The 22 year-old male took a handgun from the 21-year-old male and hid it, resulting in the other male getting upset resulting in police being dispatched. Both of the parties separated and the gun was placed into property for safekeeping. The 21 year-old male was escorted to his residence and the scene was cleared without further incident.
Assault 4 Domestic Violence (DV)/interfering w/Reporting and Malicious Mischief, 12/30/12,
1900 block of 125th Ave NE
A 20 year-old male was arrested for Assault 4 ° DV, Interfering with Reporting, and Malicious Mischief. Officers responded after a 20 year-old female reported that her boyfriend had assaulted her and took her cell phone and vehicle. It was reported that the two had a disagreement resulting in the male forcing his way through a locked door and throwing items around the room. During the investigation it was learned that the male took the females phone so she could not contact police for assistance. Information was sent out in an attempt to locate the suspect.
Residential Burglary, 01/03/13, 1400 block of 85 Dr. NE
Victims reported that they returned home and found that an unknown suspect(s) broke into their residence and stole a laptop computer. There is no suspect information at this time.
Residential Burglary, 01/04/13, 8500 block of 15th St NE
Victims returned home to find their home had been burglarized. The suspect(s) entered through a dog door at the residence. The only item taken was money.
Minor in Possession (MIP)/Possession of Marijuana, 01/04/13, 800 block of 88 Ave NE
An 18 year-old male was arrested for MIP and Possession of Marijuana. While officers were investigating a Malicious Mischief call, they located a group of kids who seemed to be intoxicated. The group fled as officers appeared on scene. Two of the males were located. A computer check was performed and it revealed that one of the males had a warrant. He was processed and taken to Denney Youth Center. The second male involved was 18 years-old exhibited signs of being under the influence of alcohol. He was placed under arrest and a search of his person revealed marijuana. The male was transported to the Marysville Jail, where he submitted to a breath test and had to be transported to the hospital due to his high-level of intoxication. He was released to the care of the hospital staff. The case was referred to Marysville Court for Charging.
