January 15, 2013

The suspect was caught on surveillance video at one of the suspected robberies. If you recognize this man please call 911 or the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.

Local residents came together to help catch a suspected thief who has been allegedly breaking into homes throughout Lake Stevens.

Attached is a poster residents made from a surveillance videotape of one of the suspected robberies near Highway 92 and Getchell Rd. The homeowners were not home at the time of the suspected break-in.

“He did take belongings....enough to only fit into a pillowcase,” one neighbor said.

According to neighbors, the suspect also tried to break into two other homes in the same area but was unsuccessful.

“We had nearly 40 car break-ins on Sunday, (January 6) in our neighborhood not too far from where this happened off of 42nd/95th (between Highway 92 and Getchell Rd.),” the neighbor said.

If you recognize this suspect or have any information that may help police, please call 911 or the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office with information and identify case number 13-443.

The residents also ask that everyone take extra precautions at their homes.
